Deep Adventure Trips 2026
The Deep Adventure Trips bring faith into the wilderness experience. The wilderness is a great place to contemplate purpose and meaning and how we fit into creation. This will include devotionals, prayer, testimonials and deep conversation around the fire. You do not have to have any faith background to participate or join the Deep Adventure trips. It is good to hear everyone's story and learn from each other.
Kids in the Wild
A Deep Adventure Challenge for ages 10-12

Calling all boys and girls who long to jump in with both feet and challenge themselves to discover what they are made for.....
Enjoy camping, fishing, swimming and learning canoe skills with others your age. We will paddle into Droppe Lake and set up a base camp for three nights. If you would like explore, learn and grow in God’s creation, come and join in the adventure!

A Deep Adventure Challenge for ages 12-14
July 13-17, 2026
Calling all boys and girls who long to jump in with both feet and challenge themselves to discover what they are made for.... Enjoy camping, fishing, swimming and learning canoe skills with others your age. We start on the beautiful Lac Des Îles Lake and enjoy beach camping and learn canoe skills for the river. We will then paddle down the Waterhen River and navigate fun rapids and learn river skills. If you would like explore, learn and grow in God’s creation, come and join in the adventure!
Wild and Free Teens
A Deep Adventure Whitewater Challenge for teens 15-17
Aug 4-9, 2026
Calling all teens to explore what is calling them to deeper living and what it means to live in freedom. Go into the wild to discover who you are meant to be! We will paddle the Churchill to the Champagne Islands and do the loop into Barker Lake to learn some whitewater canoe skills. This trip has it all from lake paddling, white-water fun, portaging and fantastic camping on the Canadian shield. We will have time to swim, fish and learn new skills with an encouraging and fun group.
Young Adult
Deep Adventure for ages 18-24
July 26- Aug 2, 2026
Calling young adults to explore what is calling them to deeper living and what it means to live in freedom. We will paddle to the Churchill via the 6-portage route from Nemieben Lake. We will still be able to loop into Barker Lake to learn some whitewater canoe skills. This trip has it all from lake paddling, white-water fun, portaging and fantastic camping on the Canadian shield. We will have time to swim, fish and learn new skills with an encouraging and fun group.

Pick from two women's trips this summer! On the June trip, enjoy a new route on the classic French/ Ducker lakes which is part of the Churchill River system with a group of women. The September trip is on Barker Lake where you will have relaxation, retreat and fun playing in the whitewater channels Both trips are an introductory trip to learn canoeing skills with other women. Challenge yourself to get out of your comfort zone and learn new skills with a fun and supportive group in God’s creation.

Men's Canoe Trip

This is an introductory trip to paddle whitewater, portage, fish and camp with a great group of guys. We will paddle into Barker Lake on the Churchill River system and stay 3 nights. This is a beginner trip to learn river skills and have a chance to relax with all the meals provided. Challenge yourself and push your canoeing skills with a fun group in God’s creation.
