One of Western Canada’s leading canoe trippers, Angela Harder has spent much of her life exploring our country’s vast river systems.
“Paddling in crystal-clear lakes, hiking on miles-long sand dunes, and watching the sun go down in stunning remote locations."
Angela has a passion for getting people active in the outdoors and into the vast Canadian wilderness on extended canoe trips. She graduated from the University of Calgary Outdoor Pursuits program and worked as a guide on the Nahanni River, an outdoor education instructor in Australia. Angela is the founder of the Outdoor Centre Loppet program which integrates the University’s professional fitness training into outdoor activities. You will find her exploring a new river, playing in the waves in her solo canoe or cross-country skiing on her days off.
